Types of documentation

You may be asked to attach supporting documentation to your online application. This could include things like your Resume, educational transcripts, drivers licence, or for Aboriginal identified positions may include information to corroborate your Aboriginality.

You can attach any documents that show evidence of the claims you have made in your application. This is to assist the panel to assess your suitability for the job.
You may also be asked to bring the original copies with you to the interview.

Original documents

If you don't have original documents, get in touch with the contact person on the job advertisement. In some limited cases, correctly verified copies of some documents can be accepted as an original true copy of the document.

  • Allow plenty of time to get all of your required documents together
  • Have scanned verified copies of documents ready when you start your online application so that lodgement is straight forward
  • If you don't have copies of some required documents, contact your local Aboriginal Workforce representative or the contact person for the job
  • Employment service providers may also be able to assist with your documentation requirements as they are funded by government to provide this kind of assistance to applicants
